To complement and support the work of the Rural Advocate, we’ve brought together survey-based information on the perceptions and priorities of rural people.

These findings are now summarised in our new Rural Insights report which presents detailed information on the views of people in the different categories of rural community – in the towns, the villages and the hamlets and across the sparse and the less sparse areas of England.

This report outlines people’s views on how things are in their communities, on the changes they have experienced in recent years and on their immediate and longer term priorities.
